·        Breast Cancer Awareness

As an all-woman team, promoting breast cancer awareness and raising funds for research is something we are extremely passionate about.

 41 Degrees 5km Women’s Run

Our major sponsorship and active involvement in the 41 Degrees “5km Women’s Run” which raises funds for Breast Cancer Research, was initiated to broaden our involvement in the wider community and promote Breast Cancer awareness; a cause of shared and genuine concern to us all.  In 2010 this event generated a groundswell of support, with more than 1900 women participating.

·        Cambodia – Tabitha Foundation

In April 2010, four of our staff along with a team of 20 others travelled to Cambodia through the Tabitha Foundation. We raised over $35,000 to fund the building of 15 houses, wells and cottage industries for impoverished families.

·        Care for Africa Foundation

In 2007, we provided 300 backpacks filled with educational supplies for children in Tanzania and Southern Kenya through the Care for Africa Foundation.

We are currently organising a group to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in June/July 2011 – with the target set at raising $50,000 to fund the building of a resource centre in Tanzania.

·        Kokoda – Raising funds for Juvenile Diabetes

In 2008 three members of our team walked the Kokoda Trail raising $175,000 for health research into Type 1 Diabetes.

Philanthropy

The values, knowledge and interests of the 41 Degrees team drive our sponsorship program.  The ongoing work we do for charity gives each and everyone of our team pride in the brand we represent and an intrinsic motivation to succeed, knowing that their efforts will directly contribute to the worthy causes we assist. Continued support in our local community and overseas charities, reinforces our commitment and focus for the coming year.
