Launceston is the second largest city Tasmania. Known as Tasmania's Garden City, due to the number of beautiful parks and gardens featured throughout the city, it certainly is one of the prettiest in the nation.


Centrally located to all ports and tourist destinations in the state, Launceston is home to the stunning Cataract Gorge and situated in the heart of the Tamar Valley Vineyard Region


Launceston is also noted for its exceptionally beautiful nineteenth century buildings. While it doesn't feel like a major city, it certainly has a distinctive ambience and charm that make it a great place to either live or visit.
