1. Have a spring clean, buy some storage boxes and get rid of any items that appear to clutter each room.
2. Ensure walls, skirting boards, floors, windows, light switches and fixtures are clean.
3. Repair any leaking taps or broken appliances you wish to include in the sale of your home. Check that all fittings and fixtures are in good working order.
4. Check that doors, windows, awnings and blinds open and shut properly.
5. Wash down the external walls and clear out any overflowing gutters.
6. Sweep the driveway and paths, keep lawns cut and gardens tidy. Trim back any tress if they are blocking light into your home.
7. Clean the windows and entrance doors.
